=== Let's settle the exhaust once and for all ===

If it's not too much trouble, let's get a few good p-choppers on this site to take this picture and make a couple scenarios for judgment:

1) Quad tipped exhasut, same as the M3, M5
2) Dual tipped exhaust, similar to the M1 pic circulating.

Many thanks in advance to those that try.

PS - color chops also welcomed.

Asthetically it looks tremendously better to my eyes with a quad setup or duals. But then I have an M3 so I'm a little biased. Always loved dual or quads though.

Purpose being possible (eventual) mods or for people to see a different perspective on the rear with a balanced look. Great shops guys, now to choose between lease vs. finance to see if this mod would be worth it.

Ultimately I think the quad/dual setups look infinitely better (again I'm an M3 owner so I may be biased). To each his/her own though.

Number one priority for me is making sure the exhaust is a large diameter true dual, but all things equal, I'd probably take quad tips.

Is it feasible to mount a true dual, same in kind as the 335i? Enogh undercarriage room?

I feel that if it were, bmw would have done it from the get go...

I'm sort of feeling the dual more than the quad now, seems more natural at this point. Also, it would make a statement that the 135i is the true little bro to the 335i.

Quads look tacky on a car of this size, imho.

In any event, as long as it flows well, I'm not really that concerned.

I LOVE quads...
JMO, but they only belong on M series.

So I'll keep these quads.... & stay with single side on my 1er.
