Isn't the 370Z faster than the 350Z? This is just a guess as I tried searching for their comparison but my damn work internet keeps blocking crap.
The 135i is dead even with the 370Z on acceleration times according to Insideline, so I would say the 135i is faster than the 350Z. |

JB4 on map 2 with 93 octane and you'll destroy him.

my buddy has a G35 with an exhaust (so a little heavier, and about the same power, because his G isnt the HR, an 06 is). With my bolt-ons, and my procede set to stock boost, i pull on him so hard it isnt even funny.

It is a HR, it was just an engine revision, that took place in 2005 iirc. The engine code changed from VQ35DE to VQ35HR (or dehr, its late, i dont remember) either way, its like a 10hp increase, he will just lose by a car-length less.

Install a tune (which IMO all N54's should have) and you'll destroy him straight line.
A few mods, like M3 FWB & a set of Michelin PSS's and I think you'll be able to keep up with him around the twisties. |

I have a 350Z with the HR engine (they were 07 & 08 with a bump on the hood, the 06 were called "Rev-up") and a 135i. If his is a 06 and below you will smoke him. The 07-08 are a little closer but you'll still take it, esp off the line. I'm speaking stock vs stock of course.

Stock versus stock the 135i has the acceleration advantage, especially in terms of torque. I have both cars, but niether of mine are stock (03 350Z and 09 135i). It is much easier to get more power out of the 135i because it's a turbo. Unless the 350Z has added forced induction a modded 350Z isn't going to make the power a modded 135i will. The 350Z is a better handling car though, stock versus stock.

06 350z is not a vq35hr, its a rev up, 03-05 were de, 06 was rev up, 07-08 was the hr. You will blow him away unless he drops a tt on it, then you are in trouble.
