Roadside Assitance
Have ordered a 135i coupe, expecting delivery sometime in Nov - from reading the BMW website, when i signed the contract, I was under the impression that roadside assistance is included, but now not so sure.
Can anyone shed any light, thanks. 135i auto, AW, coral leather, sunroof, hi fi pro, heated seats, alum pedals, mirrors package, iphone connectivity |

I ended up having to call the service dealer who was able to walk me through a couple steps and reset sunroof over the phone. problem solved. Lucky the service is free. |

It's free. . But, I had to call them when the 120d's dtc malfunction was on, and they had absolutely no idea. Basically - if it's still drivable, they don't really care. Ended up ringing the dealer and they asked me to take it in asap because that module controls everything. Turns out the steering sensor was faulty - which feeds info to all dsc dts abs functions - they wouldn't even let me drive the car as they have to wait for parts to come in.

On the two occasions I have called BMW Roadside Assistance I was attended by a dealer service person in a BMW Roadside Assistance marked X5. I believe it may be a third party outside the metro area.
BMW Roadside Assistance is or should be free for the life of the warranty (3 years). |

Have used them on a few occasions. I continued to pay for roadside assistance even after warranty period for my e46 and am glad I did. My E46 has had quite a few problems in the last 12 months and costing me almost $5k in repairs. Recently she was running rough and lost power. So called up BMW assist and arranged for a tow truck to come the next morning. I said the car was unsafe to drive due to the loss in power (getting caught on a roundabout with no/little power for example) and requested the tow truck - no arguments from the operator. Truck turned up on time next morning and towed to my nearest BMW dealer. Turned out to just be a ignition coil. So far I have been happy with my dealings with them, so I will continue to pay for the peace of mind.

It is in the blue tooth. In my stock standard audio, you press menu > contact > BMW. You will find a 1800 number. You should also have a card from BMW too. I wonder where mine is now.

I think it's just Menu -> BMW now.. I can't really remember what mine is, but it's certainly in the Menu somewhere.

You are right - menu > BMW. There is an "operator" logo on top.
I found my card too in the menu. It is very cute modern design.
