Debadging
I usually have my cars debadge because I like the clean look, but being an M car, I thought it would be fine. As the rear is so symmetrical at the back with the 1M, I actually got a bit of an eye sore from the ///M Badge!!!
Would you debadge it?

@Sparoz: My first M3 came without the badge. My second one had it, my 1M does. To me it doesn't make a difference. It boils down to "I want people to know" or "I don't give a flying **** what people think". I'll be able to identify an M when it crosses my path, badge or none. And many other car enthusiasts will too. The rest of the world? I honestly don't care. I'll leave it where it is on my car. Simply because that's the way it orginally came. If you don't like the way it looks, take it off and keep it somewhere, where looking at it reminds you of the joytoy sitting there and waiting to make you smile.

1M without badge does look clean, but you lose the M factor that identifies the car! I feel like its okay for any ordinary model (128/135) but for an M car I wouldn't..

Do what you want. Is your self esteem really so low that you absolutely NEED everyone to know you're driving an ///M car? lol

I would say no, but moreso because I just want to keep the vehicle all-original and I think that I respect the final product as is. What comes out of the oven from the M Division is kickass to begin with.
The people who know BMWs will still say "Holy sh^%! That's a 1SMC. Not many of those out there" and those who don't will be curious enough to find out. |

I like the concept of the 1M that it looks like a normal coupe, but it is not.
Also, I have heard from my dealer that some M cars came in to repair their paint when someone forcefully took the M badge off while they are parked. So, I took it off. |
