Just picked up a 128i Sport with manual and xenons

I'm in love!

2009 128i - Alpine White/Black leatherette

Manual transmission, Sport Package, Comfort Access, Xenons. No other options.

I'm missing the Premium package's contents somewhat but I'm happy with the find overall. Great little car. I've had a 2009 E90 Sport, 2001 740i M-Sport and a 2010 M3 so I'm familiar to the BMW world. This 1-Series truly captures the essence of BMW and it's a joy driving it.

Here are some pictures.

I'm exactly the opposite - perhaps we should trade!

Congrats. I have a lightly optioned 128i as well. I will sound like a broken record to other forum members but a Quaife, "square" set up, amd camber plates will transform the car. The DISA mod will take it further.

Enjoy, it's a great car even without any mods.

Congrats! I also have a black on black 128i manual with a few select options. Its a rare gem to say the least. I even had an opportunity to get a 2013 brand new 135i this past winter and balked at the idea. The power of the naturally aspirated inline 6 with a manual is instantaneous, the steering heavy yet precise and the sound with the performance exhaust perfection.

I see 128s driving around and they look tame, like an everyday driver. I think it has a lot to do with the color of a 128i because some colors just look very weak on this car (not going to say which ones). I also think the 128i needs a few select tasteful mods to make it looks more aggressive, wheels, larger tires, spoiler, blackline taillights, exhaust, tints and it looks, drives and sounds perfect.

Just out of curiosity, do you still have the M3 or did you replace it with the 128i?

Very nice. I love my 2009 AW vert. It's only options are sport and walnut interior trim. I went to a square setup with PSS when the run flats were worn out. It rides and handles better now but was great before the change.

I sold it about 2 years ago after racking up about 80k miles on it.

Congrats. Love mine. A keeper. N/A 6 is the last of the breed and w/ Spt.Pkg. & manual trans. this is a very hard car to find. We got lucky-Canadian Spt. Pkg. comes with the 18" 263 wheels which I love. About ready to change the staggered run flats to square 225's, but have to say I've loved the handling and balance from the beginning.

Interesting that you got the 263 wheels with the sport package and we didn't in the US. You'd think it would be the other way around because of your harsher winters and presumably worse roads.

My 2009 e88 came with the same wheels. It has the sports package.

Agreed. Still, I'm missing power seats and ipod and BT functionality.

A few more pics:
