F/T: 2006 Subaru STI Stage 2 Prestine Condition

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey All,

For sale or for trade for a newer BMW/Audi, preferably 335i/xi, 135i, m3, s4, s8.

2006 STI w/51,7xx Miles on it. Handwashed weekly, waxed/polished once a month. Oil changes every 3k or less with nearly every fluid changed on the car every 15k (transmission, transfercase, front diff, rear diff, coolant, brake fluid, power steering)... The car is my baby. Never been to the track or dragged raced... majority of miles is pure highway from Chicago to Waco, TX or 1100 miles four times a year for the past few years.

Mods:

-APS Cold Air Intake
-Hawk HPS High performance brake pads.. less brake dust and better stopping power imo
-Twin disc clutch... i believe exedy but i am not positive.
-Light Weight Real & Authentic JDM Shifter
-Helix Bellmouth Downpipe with APS Full turbo-back exhaust
-Grimmspeed 3-port boost solenoid
-Window Tints (10%)
-Headlight Mod
-HID High-Beam Bulbs
-Full Pioneer Premium Sound System including all new speakers in all 4 doors, touchscreen double din head unit w/ipod cable etc, and installation of pioneer tweeters
-Custom tune from AWD Tuning, the car has never been driven before being tuned

320whp, give or take a few (according to Keith at AWDTuning).. about 22-26 city mpg depending on how I drive, and I have had as high as 33 on the hwy (cruising obviously)

I am willing to negotiate and can add up to 1-3k for trades depending on the car.. including throwing in a nice gps and escort passport 8500 x50 radar if needed as well.. would love a newer bmw! please email me if you are interested at tjbode@gmail.com for the fastest response. I received offers recently for both 23,5 and 24k for the car with all mods and will gladly prove this if need be.

Thank you,

TJ

Very nice car, I came from an 05. Not to rain on your parade at all, but I don't think you'll get any of the cars you've listed (I'm more specifically referring to 335/135) for this car + 1-2 k. I went through the same thing when I sold mine, no one pays for mods and even if it is super clean, as mine was also, it still has 50k on the odometer. I got frustrated after a couple months and ended up parting out and trading it in, which was advantageous because of sales tax. There's probably some nice 135/335's at dealers that you might be able to deal on. Just a suggestion from my experience and good luck with the sale.

Actually if you look at the resale value a clean 2006 STI the book value's at $22k with 50k miles. On the flip side a 2008 135i with 50k miles value's at $24k. He's not too far off but finding a 335/135 with that high of mileage might be an issue. Subaru's hold their value well, but you are right about the mods ... no one cares. Getting someone to trade their 135i .... well ... best of luck .. we love our cars

ben14142001- thank you sir and oh i am aware that this is a long shot... I had a random guy offer me an 08 135i the other day and wanted about 4k on top of my car for it... Tempting, but I think I can do better. I have had 2 cash offers in the past month as well, one for 23,5 and one for 24 flat.... the color combination i have (Aspen White's last production year with the gold BBS) is hard to come by in good condition that has not been ripped apart. Either way, just know I am willing to add more than 2k if the car is right

Thanks,
TJ

Dude, that's great! My car was silver, and I found the demand wasn't quite as high. 24 cash is a sweet deal, glad it's working out for you. Good luck and hope to see your new car on here soon!

Thank you man and I hope to be on here soon with a 135i! Hopefully I can find someone looking to go to the STI to change things up a bit... We shall see. If not, I may just sell it and buy an 08/09. Thank you though again!
