I'm sure it's going to look great! Other advantage of wood over aluminium is that it does not dent so easily (A lot of users here have complained about that).
I have the gray headliner, the black one was not available at the time and I doubt it is offered in Canada. Of course, if you look for the gray, you see it (Such as in a dealership when inspecting the car), but 90% of the time you see anything of the car, you are driving it and in such en environment, you don't notice it. Also, it is a light color, and so is lemon, so it's not as much a mismatch as with Terra. Anyways, I'm pretty happy with it, no one ever made any comment about the roof's interior color (Plenty of positive feedback on the seats though)! |

You're right about the grey lining, of course: you don't really notice it once you're in the car and, TBH, had I not found out the anthracite option existed, I would probably never even looked at the roof lining in the first place. I am becoming obsessive - it's time my car was delivered!
BTW, if you have any photos of your lemon in natural daylight, I would love to see them...

Excellent, thanks. You certainly won't get slapped from me: I had seen the first pic, but none of the others

Wolf, nice very nice ans you found a beautifull spot to make the pictures, nice panorama.
back concerning the black roof. For me, the interior will look smaller, i made the test with the 5 touring (M package and a classical beige interior° So for sure the Roof windows is a good extra to go with. I agree with Paul....waiting too long time and you will change everything in your combo! At least you will have exactly the perfect car for you. You met for sure my dealer, i ordered his e91 just after mine. He is really loving the lemon interioir and you can see it. Otherwise there is now a E91 arktis-lemon in the Hall A at the Bruxelles Airport. today i was waiting 30 min for boardig 20 m away from the car. You can't imagine how many people are stopping to have a look on the interior... Futhermore the arktis is really a amazing color, especially with all the ligth effects in the boarding hall. I will go with my Jet black but a Arktis-Lemon is great. I think it is THE color of the E90-E91

The split sliding armrest comes as standard here with the sports or premium packages.

the non splitted, no slidding armrest is a pitty because it is too short and not usable in a normal driving position (for my body....)
Some kind of design mistake that need to be solved by purchasing a sport or premium package in France (or option line in BE for example) or paying 150 euros if you choose to go for a individual extra list I tried to obtain it for free, by a clear demonstration to the dealer that it is not usable for a lot of drivers, but it is still on my order and not free!!

Anyone have real pictures (not car configurator) of lemon interior with the anthracite head liner?
I would consider lemon interior, then again I would also consider a 130i, probably only for the reason that I cannot have them currently! |

Paul 330d, found pictures of an e91 today with lemon and black headliner at this link http://www.motor-talk.de/t966462/f240/s/thread.html Thought maybe they would interest you?

exactly my first feeling. LEmon,+Black roof lining only with Panorama windows,
have a look on pic10 (rear windows open), the lemon is becoming grey... It is anyway the conclusion of the owner (he ordered the panorama roof because he was expecting this). So definitly out of my budget (1400+200 euro for black roof and panorama window), but GREATTTTT I want mine too.......

The anthracite headliner comes standard with the M Pack in the UK (or as an option on other models)
I've just sold an Audi A3 that I had the dark liner in. It doesn't make the interior dark at all, it's fabulous. You don't need a sunroof option no way. It also changes the look of the car from outside too, as you have dark pillar casings which don't show throught the glass like light grey ones, so it makes the car look meaner from outside. |

The lemon looks gorgeous wish it were here in the States. Being that which is the next best interior to go with if you have a black exterior?
