Rusty center hubs
I'm considering putting some volk re30's on and I know volks usually don't come with center caps. I also like the look better without center caps, however I noticed that my centers are pretty rusty and it would really take away from the wheel. Would you just buy some center caps or is there another solution? Could I paint it, maybe with some brake caliper paint? Any ideas? thanks

I recently picked up a set of black RE30s, the hubs DO look pretty awful.
I remember a thread diy over on m3post on cleaning and painting the hubs black, which come off real nice. Would be a good alternative over the $200+ Volk Center caps |

You can paint them with caliper paint, clean the rust off with a wire brush/sandpaper/scotchbrite

I thought most of our bits were aluminum? The center of the hub has some rust flakes but I assumed it was from my winter wheels (I had to use metal ring adapters for my winters). Will the whole thing rust up?
