+1 on Pete from Habberstad - make sure you go to Huntington.

And make sure Rich works on your car!

Youre looking for peter perpall.

And screw receptionists. Youll know you went to the right place when you see the mural in the service bay.

GET OUT OF THAT PLACE IMMEDIATELY

Story time.

Last summer I took my car to Hassel with wastegate rattles and poor throttle response. After 3 days of complete BS they handed my car back to me and said

"Its broken but it isnt broken enough for us to do anything about it"

Took the car and drove it immediately to Habberstad. One of the wastegates was completely shot and the car was only holding 3 pounds of boost.

Hassel is the worst dump on LI and you should never let those fools touch your car.

Well I am out of warranty now so I won't be going to any dealer anymore, except for recalls.

Is the consensus pretty much that Rallye and Habberstad are "friendly" dealers? I'm out in Queens and slowly putting together a FBO... but I'm scared of dealers denying warranty stuff if things start going wrong (knock on wood)

Thanks for the tip bmw4life27. I'll def. ask for Chris when I go there for service.

Anyone got specifics on good servicing at Rallye? Like specific techs or service advisors?

Chris is a track guy (club racer/instructor) so he understands that these cars are driven hard from time to time.

Tony at BMW Bayshore is also a great guy. He has a wicked E39 M5 and an ActiveE.

Tony did the top replacement on my car and a few other things. Hes fantastic.
