Btw M2 production for RHD starts Nov 2015. Not sure if Australia will be at the top of the queue but I suspect we would be.
Told you to get CCB "nah don't need it" lol

As I said earlier, Q1 2016 (in Aus)

Nah, I don't believe this is the case. I suspect they are referring to the proposed/retuned N55 engine in M2 (N55B30T0) as a detuned version of the S55 in M3/M4 (S55B30T0). If this is true then the M235 engine (N55B30O0) is a detuned version of the M3/M4 which is clearly incorrect.

Couldn't agree more... N55 it is... So why they say "it's still twin-turbocharged..."? Unless they meant to say twin scrolled turbocharged...

It's a higher powered version of the N55, also to be used in the X4 M40i. There will be no adaptive suspension in the M2 to keep weight down

Time to resurrect this little thread

Good to see the old 1M formula, M3 wheels, tyres and brakes (suspension I assume also)

I like big butts and I can't deny........

I prefer the looks of the M4 and I'm sure most can afford an M2 or an M4. But for me, the M2 is a better recipe for more fun. Shorter wheelbase and less weight = more fun for a daily and slightly better value.

It will be interesting to see the M2 completely unveiled.

The m2 still has to deal with the n55 stigma in the tuning community.

I think once we see some real true gains, people will want to swap and move.
