Just spoke on the phone with someone from e92 lighting. He sounded completely clueless. I have my doubts I will be receiving these bulbs......

They're inactive codes, clear them out and see if they come back. Looks to be related to the VANOS system. I'd check to see if the VANOS recall was done, and also check out my thread here where I had some similar issues.

Clean build! I'm not "in" on the turbo tuning world, so what does the O2 simulator and the O2 spacer do for the performance of the car?

A dealership or Indy shop licensed to do BMW flashes/updates could tell you.

Just for the catless downpipe, so you don't get any codes/CEL

noth for performance.. when u remove the cat.. the ecu seeks one.. so u put the o2 sim so it tricks the ecu into it being there..
if you don't trick it .. or code the sensor out... the ecu will throw codes .. possibly rendering perf..

I guess my question is answered, then. It serves no purpose!

sorry.. the spacer ive only heard of when I called to inquire about the dinan flash..
he said it might or might not throw codes with spacer installed..
ive never heard of the spacer being needed when just installing downpipe..
so , in a nutshell o2 sim and spacer are for the car ecu to not throw codes..
but imo..
I would buy the dp install it and then code out the o2 sensor on the dp..
havnt done it yet (next part to buy) but from what I hear its the route to take..

Cool! This has absolutely no relevance on my car, but it's cool to learn about!

Then installed MHD stage 2 +.

Took it for a test drive and all seems well! Will install the AE bulbs tomorrow.

I heard you aren't suppose to leave the o2 Sim on full time. Is this true?

I don't see why not, who knows. I still haven't installed the O2 simulator yet.

I installed the angel eyes and I'm honestly very disappointed. For $200, they aren't that bright and don't shine evenly.

Here are some crappy pics in the garage. I'll get some more outside when the weather isn't so terrible.

How do I check what tune is installed? I just installed the stage 2+ MHD but didn't see anywhere on the phone what the current tune is.

Also, does the stage 2 + automatically turn off the rear O2 sensor CEL? Or how do I do that?
