They're inactive codes, clear them out and see if they come back. Looks to be related to the VANOS system. I'd check to see if the VANOS recall was done, and also check out my thread here where I had some similar issues.

Clean build! I'm not "in" on the turbo tuning world, so what does the O2 simulator and the O2 spacer do for the performance of the car?

Just for the catless downpipe, so you don't get any codes/CEL

I guess my question is answered, then. It serves no purpose!

he said it might or might not throw codes with spacer installed.. ive never heard of the spacer being needed when just installing downpipe.. so , in a nutshell o2 sim and spacer are for the car ecu to not throw codes.. but imo.. I would buy the dp install it and then code out the o2 sensor on the dp.. havnt done it yet (next part to buy) but from what I hear its the route to take..

I installed the angel eyes and I'm honestly very disappointed. For $200, they aren't that bright and don't shine evenly. Here are some crappy pics in the garage. I'll get some more outside when the weather isn't so terrible. 20180207_165143 by Matt Bender, on Flickr 20180207_165129 by Matt Bender, on Flickr 20180207_165201 by Matt Bender, on Flickr How do I check what tune is installed? I just installed the stage 2+ MHD but didn't see anywhere on the phone what the current tune is. Also, does the stage 2 + automatically turn off the rear O2 sensor CEL? Or how do I do that? |
