Insurance rates on the 1?

Ok let's hear from those of you who have gotten it, what kind of insurance rates are you paying on the 135i? Are they similar to the 335i?

I am trying to price insurance rates and my company does not have the 135i listed yet. This is a big issue for me, being in CA, because the rates are so high here. Gotta Pay to Play though... I know:drinking:

come on its a 135i, but if i can save some money on insurance, its worth a try...

18 year olds who drive sports cars pay a lot for insurance. And that isnt even that high considering he is 18 and has 2 speeding tickets.

I think mine will be around 165 a month, 25 y/o, 1 accident, company is State Farm.

I'm quoted at 550 in NC and tentatively at 725 when I move to WA. That's for 6 months terms, w/ a primary 25 y/o driver, no accidents, no tickets. It would be useful to find out what rates others are getting in WA in real life.

Does anyone know if the 135 has an alarm standard? They keep asking me that when I call in for quotes.

I am 46 with a perfect record. I am with Esurance and got an estimate on a 335i which will be close. First I am covered with 300k/100/, 50k. $1,000 deduct. To compare I pay $780 a year for my 07 Civic Si. The 335i is $1,050 a year. So I figure the 135i will be $1,000 a year, not bad. When I was with Allstate my Tundra crew cab 4x4 limited was $1250 a year.

I was quoted $178 a month for both me and my husband to be drivers (with full coverage), both of us with plenty of speeding tickets... most of them mine. I've also had 3 completely totaled out cars, no accidents were my fault though! Age- early 20s

I got a quote through Progressive and it is a mind-shattering $400/month here in CA. I am a 24 yr old with two tickets and one accident. I need to look around, but no one has the 135i on their websites. Where do I go? CA is a crock-of-s**t!!!The girl said I needed 100/300 coverage in order to satisfy the lease. Man I'm pissed!!

Geico says $360/month. Man, I don't think I can swing that. Low cost insurance quoted me on a BMW 335i at $284/month, the 135i should be less than that right???
