Okay guys, 35% or 50% tint? This thing gets too hot in direct sun.

According to F1 percentages, there isn't that large of a difference for heat rejection between 35% and 50%

It's my understanding that this color is only available in the 2008. So all of you that were lucky enough to get a SGM 128/135 - congratulations! You have something unique to the 2008.

at least in Germany SGM is removed from the programm (since september) and followed by spacegrey so all the coupes and convertibles in SGM will be very unique

I heard some rumors that the color brings up some environmental problems. the purple particles in the color are reputed to be a problem. unfortunately I don´t have any further informations - these were just rumors

Nice. Did you do this with the stock run flats? Any mods? Were you timed or just having fun? Is that 135 sticker yours?

Stock runflats (actually they were 225/40 fr and 255/35 rear I bought just for the track)... that came off a 335i. I paid $320 for the set! Good thing they had 7-9/32" when I started because I melted off quite a bit of rubber!

Zero mods!

Having fun doing hot laps... about 25 cars in my run group on a 1.8 mi. road course.

Bought the car magnet from www.vistaprint.com/carmagnet. Works like a charm and costs only $35 for qty. 2, shipped to the U.S.

tnawab,

Where did you get those wheels? Do you know the weight? What was the price (for all 4)? ...looks like a good set for the track.

Those are my winter wheels and tires.
They are Sport KM 11's 18Inch (from tire rack). $580.00 for 4 (no tires)

Offset: 32mm
Backspacing: 5.78"
Bolt Pattern:
Rec. Tire Size: 225/40-18
Weight: 24.0lbs.

Might be heavy for the track.

You cant get SGM anymore, unless you get the 08 version. Space Grey looks nice too.

My specs. above are for the 135i coupe. Either way, that's a pretty good price. I wonder if 255/35 18" rear tires will fit on the 18x8 wheel.
