The sweet sound of this car

After I put on my DCI I realized something, this car sounds amazing. I can't think of another car where you get that sweet six cylinder sound and the spool of a couple turbos. I feel like I am in high school again, standing around my buddies SRT4, Evos, and STI's loving the sound of their turbos but hating the sound of the egg beater sized engines.
When I was searching for this, I watched hours of exhaust videos on so many different cars, my wife thought it was the strangest thing buying a car because of the way it sounds, but I am so glad I did.
I believe I have a romantic relationship with my exhaust note.

What do I put on next? I heard if I put on a DP and leave stock exhaust it doesn't sound the best, any advise of what I can do without replacing the exhaust? I have a professional job so I don't want it to sound like I borrowed my son's car...

+1000 on BMW Performance Exhaust.

I listened to days worth of exhaust videos trying to decide myself. It's really hard to get a good idea from computer speakers. I went with the BMW PE based off of reviews and suggestions on here and it was the best decision I've made yet. It is incredible. Little to no drone at cruising speeds but loud when you want it to be.

i agree on the performance exhaust. there are a few 335is's near me and it really sounds great under acceleration. also the golf tee mod is amusing and quick if you're bored.

not to take this too far off topic but perhaps someone can comment on whether or not the ppk2 (warranty safe tune) affects the sound of the exhaust. OP, maybe you can get more power and a more aggressive sound without changing any parts?

Well if you like that so much you should make it a point to do a tunnel run with anything with an opened up S85

you might want to bring wipes though....

I have the PE on my 135 and it sounds great. Even with the top down there is no drone on the hwy but it sounds great when you got WOT
