Winter tires ... suggestions ???
Hi,
I need some new winter tires for my 135i and i am wondering what size should i go with and what kind of tires to get ... ??? tks

Montreal can get some pretty heavy snow, no?
17 x 7.5 rims with 205/50/R17 or 17 x 8 rims with 215/45/R17 I went with the latter but chose performance winter tires (Dunlop M3) because Vancouver only gets 'limited' snowfall in spurts. Most winter driving here is just cold and miserable not not trying to plow through a foot or two of snow. However, this year is supposed to be a bad winter.... |

Take a browse through the TireRack link above. Best place, even if it's just to browse around.
I don't think there are any runflat winter tires if I'm not mistaken. I just bought a Continental Comfort Kit which is a 12V compressor and sealant. I would probably call BMW roadside assistance before attempting to use the kit. I'll save that for when I'm away from civilization. |

Tire Rack lists a number of RFT winter tires in both 17" and 18" sizes for the 135i.
