Question newb question - don't hurt me x_X

Getting a 128i in a couple weeks. OEM rim size is 17 inches w/RFTs. I want to get some new 18 inch rims with non-RFTs. If I get a flat tire, can I use one of the OEM 17 inch rims w/RFT as a spare?

The OEM rfts on a 128 are 205/50 R17

Some 18" tire sizes that are the same overall diameter are

205/45 R18 and 225/40 R18 with these 18' sizes youll be able to use the OEM 17" as a spare

Garage List
The 17's should work fine as a spare for 18's or even 19's.

no those have shorter sidewalls that your stock 17"

225/40 R18 and 255/35 R18 will be fine and fit well within the fenders.
