How Long did it take you to get to 1200 Miles?
I guess I am curious if the BMW Community uses their E90 as there primary car or is it their toy? I for one use it as a Toy and thus it has taken me 8 months to reach 1200 miles....

Of course, I´ve only put on about 3000 km in 4.5 months after the first 5 days.

Hit 250 Miles after 4 Days. Hit 750 After Bimmerfest. Stand @ 750 and it will be a week tomorrow. (was able to drive it often since Itook a month off for our 1st baby) Otherwise, I have another car for my daily (work commute, errands, etc) It will be garaged after tomorrow, for when i get to have fun with it.

3 days for me.
880 just to get home from the PCD. Had 1279 after day 3. I put another 700 miles on it this week, it's been very fun.

Gonna hit 1200 in about 2 days(based on normal driving days) which will make it exactly 3 weeks from the time it was picked up(with 12 miles on it).

Actually Chitown 's write up about PCD is part of the reason I chose to do it. But Chitown if you did it again would you ship it back? Im kinda worried about putting a thousand miles on it in the first day. Or do you know anything about shipping it back. Since Im waiting for the E92 it seems I will have a while to figure all this out.!

"Had 1,000 km in 12 hours after delivery. Drove from Vancouver to Calgary in 12 hours. Now 6 months later I'm about 8,500 km (5,500 miles)."
Top this... Drove 4,700miles in 1 month 3 weeks. I think I'm enjoying the car too much. Trip from Sacramento to LA and lots of trips from Sacramento to San Francisco |
