I had the V3's on for about a month before I installed the M3 parts, so the results in the M3 parts section is for the M3 parts only. With the stock suspension I'm sure you will still experience a lot of the benefits that I'm seeing.

Not sure what you are talking about. I didn't have any small alarm system of any kind. Maybe it's an option you got?

This is a most interesting and informative series of threads (replacing 135i with M3 parts) but I have a question: If more responsive steering and less compliant suspension movement is the aim, why not just replace the stock bushings with their M counterparts instead of going to the expense of buying upper and lower suspension bits for both ends of the car? Do the stiffer bushings not fit the factory 135i components? (Sorry, two questions).
If this has been answered earlier in another thread, my apologies. |

Excuse me, I'd like to know if someone has replaced just the oem wishbones with the M3 wishbones.
I want to do that, but the question is: if my only aim is to gain negative camber, is it worth it? Someone said to me: With a McPherson suspension, if you do not replace also the tension rods, you will have toe-in and if you put toe-out you will lose the negative camber you've gained with the M3 wishbones. Is this right? Thank you |
