Brake Pads for 135i -- street use

I would like to replace the pads on my 135i with something that has less dust. Vehicle is driven on the street no plans to track or autox.

Any opinions on wither of these options:

Carbotech Bobcat 1521

Cool Carbon D1371 / D1372

Thanks very much.

I run Cool Carbons on the fronts of my 128i. Very, very low dust, quiet, no loss of performance at all from the stock pads.

I just installed Hawk ceramics on all four for the street use. Very nice, very negligible dust. Great pedal feel and modulation; but, not for the track.

Hawk pad install

Did you do the install? If so, was it easy? Thanks.

The install was easy, just follow the directions in the DIY post.

Be sure to read all the way to the end of the section. On the front you must remove the calipers, on the rears you just use a small punch to drift out the pins. There are two methods to remove the front calipers. Use the second method outlined later in the responses to the DIY. There is an adapter that mounts the caliper to the strut. The caliper should be removed with the adapter. Less then two hours including flushing the brake fluid.
