Spring is finally here // Rays VR G25
*** Parting out, please look at FS section ***
Weather is finally becoming really nice in Chicagoland I recently changed my wheels to Rays VR G25. (compliments to Ryan at iND for good suggestions as usual) The wheels are super nice and very well made, can't ask more from these top notch Japanese made forged. Oh... took off the amber-gones that everyone seemed to dislike. Gone amber-gones lol BEFORE IMG_0945 by K7TORT, on Flickr CURRENT IMG_1658 by K7TORT, on Flickr IMG_1606 by K7TORT, on Flickr IMG_1637 by K7TORT, on Flickr IMG_1663 by K7TORT, on Flickr IMG_1600 by K7TORT, on Flickr

Thank you!! I wasn't too sure about black rims, but the glossy spoks and espeically the silver rim edges are what made me pull the trigger. I'm glad they turned out to be really better than I thought originally. Quote:
Thank you! Le Mans Blue is one of my favorite BMW colors. The diffuser is actually from ebay. IMO it's a real good quality! About $300+. Quote:
Yes, I don't think I have seen these rims on a 1er in the forum. Always nice to be different Thank you. I knew someone was gonna say that lol. I don't not like the old style, but really, these rays rims are of superb quality. Thank you!!! Quote:
Guess what, actually I may not keep these too long... May sell them within this year due to job relocation (as well as my car Will let you know if I decide to... Rays VR G25 Formula Silver Black Clear F: 19x8 +48 R: 19x9 +50 I am running 10mm spacers all around though. Tires are 215 and 235. Thank you!!

Very nice! Love me some Volks! I like your black and blue theme too.
I've had several sets of VR G2s on my Zs. I also have a set of Nismo wheels that are made by Rays. You can't beat Rays forged wheels for weight savings, strength and looks.

Wow, extremely nice! I'd hate to see the bill on those babies, but they'll be worth it in the long run!

Dude that looks HOT
prefer your new VOLKS to the older ones. Volk Wheels = Quality for sure. Looks like your offset is very E82 Friendly (50). essentially with a 10mm spacer you have made the wheels a 40 offset and it looks spot on and very aggressive. Do you rub at all? again great choice and like a previous posted said.... something different and refreshing as opposed to all the common wheels we see nicely Done.. |

No doubt for sure!! Yeah, they are very light too, changing wheels are now a breeze!! Thank you!! Quote:
Actually these wheels are available in many offsets, also they are introducing new colors. It's 3D design. Thank you!!

Yes, I now think the car looks much better without the amber covers. Thanks! Quote:
Quote:
Yes, they are not cheap for sure... but you will get what the $ pays for, really top notch! Quote:
Front will fit fine without any rolling even with the spacers, but my rear panels have been rolled to accomodate these wheels with spacers. (No rubbing without spacers) Yes, I really wanted something different, little bit of a risk for me as I couldn't find any preceding examples, but loving how it turned out.
