$1200 on Performance Suspension

I'm considering harnesses so I can use the car for light track duty when my Z is in shop.
I think you know my thoughts. The performance suspension will transform the car, whereas the steering wheel will just be a nice accent but not affect how the car actually drives and the stock steering wheel is plenty nice.

Plus, you can always find and steal IEDEI's steering wheel.

I have NO doubts the PS is an improvement over stock but I actually feel the combo of PSS, subframe inserts, M3 control arms/FSB and Dinan plates are pretty darn good. The wheel gap isn't even as bad as it used to be now that I upsized tires. But your point is taken...but man that steering wheel looks good. It would totally improve the interior which is a little too plain IMO. I'm just concerned about the upkeep since I drive the car so often. But $700 is a big pill to swallow.

Decisions decisions...

Just get them all and then decide which you like best. =)

Have you seen/felt IEDEI's alcantara wheel? Obviously I'm biased cause I'm not a big alcantara fan and I have the PS, so I am speaking mainly from a bang for your back perspective, I think you get a lot more for your money on the suspension. It also really complements the PSS really well and don't think you really have anything to worry about in terms of rubbing with upsized tires and that setup.

Don't think you can make a wrong/bad decision though. Just get whatever your gut, heart, and car desire.

Today's was the day. Dropped off he little beast for some 1M/M3 sub-frame bushing upgrades.

PS: Received a courtesy 428i and I am not impressed at all. Feels so squishy and bloated, even in its Sports+ mode. I will not be a fan. ugh......

Exciting! Hopefully they take them out of the plastic before installing them. =P

Can't wait to hear what you think of the difference and hey, at least the crappy 428 will really have you appreciating your car when you get it back.

omg Greg, the 428i so blah. In fact, 4 hours ago, a guy pulled up next to me in a 335i and asked me how it was. I think he was expecting me to rant and rave about it because when I shrug my shoulders and told him how I was surprised that BMW made a car that was not a BMW anymore. He then only realized it was a loaner. The 428i has all the bells and whistles and creature comforts but it is truly not a BMW anymore and it is soooo BIG.

Ya, I park near a 428 and 435 at work and they look like giant boats. They look to me like 6 series coupes in terms of size, or I guess last gen 6-series. WHy do they need to make them so big?!

Agree 100%. The thick and meaty ///M steering wheel is the best I've ever felt, and what can be said about The BMW Performance suspension that hasn't already been said? It's the way the car should've came from the factory. Sure it could be lower and it could be stiffer, but it's just an all around great compromise. Sporty, fun, balanced and composed. Still comfortable, maybe even more comfortable than before.

No! Don't Park There!!!!

Well, my luck this morning...apparently as my car was going through the car wash, a taco truck pulled up and parked IN the car wash to set up shop...and where do they park my car to finish drying it...right next to it.

Funny picture, but I was horrified and wanted to go slam my door before it smelled worse than...cockpit premium!!!! Que Ricos Son!

Fishy tacos are the best! Really they are.....

PS: I sure hope that blue rag on the floor was not reused to wipe down your car. Goodness, if they did... it would make me cringe....

He was finishing up when I took the pic, so the blue rag was a used, discarded one he used on the rims I believe.

I also do not understand why the chicken has a gun/holster. Oh wait, he has a badge, too. Guess he's a chicken sheriff or something.

If I want a fishy taco smell in my interior, I'd just let a woman in the passenger seat...or use IEDEI's invention just switching the direction of the airflow I guess. Either way, that's why the ladies they go in the trunk... O=)
