Tire Rack's directory assistance policy
I placed an order through Tirerack.com last night for Pilot Super Sports expecting them to be here tomorrow or the next day. Today I received a call stating that I needed to contact The Tire Rack from a phone that is listed in directory assistance under my last name or from a work phone. I paid through Paypal on an account I've had verified for years with a CC I've had for years and had the tires shipped to my billing address which I've been at for years.
Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm just curious as to why the moronic policy? I was busy installing my FMIC at the time so I told them to just cancel my order and I would get them someplace else. |

I had a friend order some tires from tire rack recently. They just called him to verify some information and that was all.
