My girlfriend fixed my noisy, creeky seat problem. Yippeee!

Damn I got to say that I love my girlfriend so much now! She fixed my noisy driver seat that irritated the shit out of me by just thinking of the obvious thing that I didn't think about in the first place.

True love I say...

Hence my name 3some= Me my E90 & my girl a perfect threesome!

LOL you guys are really fucking sick!!!

Anyways this worked for me, believe it or not. My seat started making funny creeks etc. Just before i was about to blow my top about the seat making ghostly noises my girlfriend said the following:

"Why don't you adjust the Tilt of the seat one click forward so that it is Not entirely laid back and on the floor of the car and a little bit more in the air. Not the up and down lever on the side of the seat but the tilt backwards or forwards lever in the front of your seat where your legs are" she said.

Well I did the adjustment only a single click forward and BOOM gone is that fucking irritating creeks and noises.

I guess if it is tilted way back it is more susceptable to creeking maybe because it absorbs more energy through the car or something, one notch forward did the trick for me.

A womans touch was all i needed!!!

That tilting tip is only going to work for a few days before the creaking comes back.

Ask me how I know...

Threesome, thanks for sharing (no pun intended).

I tried tilting the seat bottom more forward and the squeeking/creaking has stopped. In the previous position, I localized the noise to the left side of the seat (along the lumbar) which coincides with every single time I clutch in. Yeah, talk about super annoying. Oddly, with the seat in this new position the noise is gone. Here's hoping it doesn't return. Thanks man!
