e90 vs e82

I was considering a part for my 135 but it lists the part is compatible with the e90, it is a carbon fiber brake handle, will this fit on my e82 brake handle boot?

In general, it will fit. The brake handle boot is usually zip-tied around a neck in the handle, on the inside of the boot.

Can't be 100% sure without seeing the handle in question. Is this a BMW OEM accessory?
