Would really like to know some specs on this, what work have you done/stuff you've removed/etc.

Essentially everything that you can think of that is not needed lol The only thing left that can be removed that I have not yet is the dash bar that attaches to the steering rack (but this would have to be replaced when a full cage goes in to support the steering rack so the weight difference is probably zero) a thick sound deadening material up against the firewall, and stripping of the wiring harness.

Carbon fiber trunk, roof, hood and doors would take off even more weight and likely get me down into the low 2500# range. Doors are 48# each and Carbostuff enigneering makes 13# doors for our cars so thats a good 60# right there but a full cage is necessary and they cost 2400 euro plus shipping for the pair.

Adding in the weight for a full cage would probably bring me back up to around 2600# which is not bad plus me still keeps it under 2800#.

I dont have any pictures as I am posting this from my work laptop but will try to get some up this weekend.

That's really impressive, I'd love to see the pics! Makes me wonder what some of the 1m racers weigh.
