sapphire black e92 335xi work in progress

Just picked up a set of Beyern Mesh Front 18x8.5 235/40 Rear 18x9.5 265/35 on PS2s. Aesthetically 19s with a lower profile would look better, but the higher profile protects me from the crap roads in Jersey City. I think a 1.5 inch drop in the front would make the stance look better.

I also feel better acceleration in my butt dyno. The car feels a bit more sprightly when accelerating. The Beyern's do have less unsprung weight then the stock 18s. The tires are worlds better than the stupid run flats that made me buy these wheels in the first place. The ride is much better now.

Thanks. The Beyern Mesh reminds me of the old school BBS that I loved growing up. It looks almost factory on the car. The XI has a ridiculous gap in the front, and combined with the thicker profile tires makes the 18s look a lot smaller. I am shopping around for KW v1s or H&Rs right now.

a little drop will be cooler but then you need to think of comfort as well

If you get the right coilovers your ride and handling will actually improve and be less harsh (KW Street Comforts for example). I never really liked mesh-style wheels by for some weird reason I always thought the Beyerns looked good. I'm not sure why but those look fantastic on your car - you have great taste!
