OTC Glass Cleaner

I did not know it came in a spray. I have always used the aerosol. I hope it works the same. Let us know if it is different.

I had a kid working for me once who had worked in a detail shop. They instructed him to spray on the glass cleaner then use his bare hand to smear it around first, then wipe it off with whatever works for you. This allows the cleaner to more thoroughly dissolve the contaminants before the towel starts to soak up the cleaner. It made sense to me so I tried it and liked it.

The spray worked fine with newspaper. I will try a few other things next time for comparison, perhaps microfiber, the hand method and regular paper towels.

BTW, anyone else on here get a layer for what looks like fog on your window in the morning? It wipes off from the wipers but comes back in a few seconds. I can't figure out what it is and can't get rid of it. It covers the window except there a few spots here and there without it.

How about....From sitting overnight the inside of your car and your windshield is cool, relative to the outside temperature. The cool surface of the glass drops the temperature of the air "touching" your windshield to below its dew point causing it to condense on your windshield.

I don't think its condensation because it does not wipe off or melt away.

Picked up a bottle of Stoner Invisible Glass cleaner at Target for $3.99 (32 oz. pump spray) to try out and I'm really impressed: no streaks, no smears, nothing, just clean, clear glass.

To avoid getting the spray on other surfaces, I just lightly saturated a small hand towel with the cleaner, wiped the entire surface, then buffed the glass with another towel... Terrific!
