I was kind of cheesed that they only had 5 bottles of the #12. Didn't do any brewery tours this time - I was only in Belgium for a few hours - it was literally just a beer run. I did the full-on beergasm last year, so this was just to replenish my depleted stocks.

I cant wait to get back to Europe and get another suitcase of beer home with me. Luckily I can get some decent Belgians around here, but not at the same cost (or the same selection).

Congrats! I'm planning one for September. Salzburg looks beautiful - that is one place we're staying. It's going to be quite a trip. The new 135 will be icing on the cake.

BTW, how did you search out the best brews?

Best brews in Munich? Swing a dead cat, you will hit something. They're all really good. I wouldn't miss the Weisses Brauhaus though. 'Aventinus' and 'Eisbock' are the magical words. All of the major brews have cafes/beer gardens there, so you can run down the list for spaten, hacker-pschorr, franziskaner, etc. The augustiner beer garden is also very cool.

Just remember that to go to Austria, you will need a vignette (toll sticker). Ask the BMW people when you are actually receiving the car, they should provide one for you. And Salzburg is awesome.

Hi guys!

Every Beer in Munich is delicious !
I prefer "Augustiner"... but there are many Brewery´s in Munich. You can go to the "Hofbräuhaus" in Munich, but there are no citizens in there, just Tourists.... But you will find good Brews and Food every 10 meters (and i dont mean McDonalds,BurgerKing or Subways )
