Lci Dct Paddle Shifter Upgrade
Are there any upgrade paddle shifters available for the LCI DCT?? I know bimmian.com sells upgrade aluminum ones but they don't appear to work for our LCI version just pre LCI. Anyone know if there are some larger aluminum ones available? I love the aggressive look of the bimmian ones!

It's on bimmian under aluminum parts when you look at the e82 category.... They are super sexy!

I'd like to install larger aftermarket DCT shift paddles as well, but paying $244.38 each for the M3 shift switches and then buying the new paddles is a bit much. Especially when I have so many other mods to do...

Look at the additional photos it appears to fit the same style as our LCI e82 DCT set up!

I'm pretty sure the M3 switches are different than our 135i switches but I hope I'm wrong!
Keep us updated.

I bought the BMW Performance Steering Wheel and the cutouts for the DCT switches were different than the stock wheel. Granted the switches still fit but it was a different cutout. I'm also curious why, if the extended paddles fit, they don't market them as 135i compatible? And for that matter 335is compatible?
Like I said, I hope you are correct and they fit because I really would like to have larger paddles. There's one particular curve at the 'Ring where I have a hard time hitting the downshift paddle while the wheel is all twisted, so that's my justification for a new mod.

Perhaps we have to buy the m3 paddles for our cars to make this upgrade? I have seen folks say that the m3 paddles fit ours? I like the new 2012 m6 paddles!

Like I said earlier, $244.38 each for the M3 shift switches is too rich for my blood. I'll spend my $500 on suspension upgrades if I can't get just the extended paddles.

So can anyone confirm that the SonicMS paddle shifters will work for our DCT paddles? Been wanting to upgrade mine to longer paddles.

I'd try it but shipping back and forth between the States and Germany takes forever and can be a real PITA. EDIT: I just sent them an email asking if the paddles fit and if I could return them if they didn't.

M3 suspension is going to be my Festivus gift to myself this year.
I'll do the paddles if they can be had for $150.
