Exclamation a new take on ///M stripes...

What do you guys think of these cars? They were done by Sportec in Munich.

I don't have any info on the 1M. For the F20 M135i, it has 370 PS and 530Nm and a top speed of 278 kph.

PS: I like the plates on the white 1M.

Quite like the 135... Hate the 1M...

Can't stand "turbo" on cars... Unless its a Saab 99

I don't like the Flat Black 135. The M Stripes are a bit loud on the 1M but I see where they were going with them. Reminiscent of the 2002 Turbo!

I'd pass on any stripes, those wheels are real nice though.

I appreciate the throwback, but I don't personally feel that it flows well.

I agree that the "Turbo" on the 1M looks ridiculous. I like the wheels a lot on the hatchback, and would do either the m stripes on the back or front, but not both, and no side stripes.

On 1M turbo looks ok if you know what style it is... Google for 2002 turbo that should explain everything.

Too boy racer for me.

And I really despise flat/matte paint jobs... Makes the car look like a beater.

That's because it is not a true 1M. The M3 for me is the most subtle of them all and the one I would go with.

On EC cars, Xenons were optional. And also Xenon's with AHL. Just like the shadow line trim - all options were ala carte over here.

You can tell this is a 1M conversion. The mirrors are a give away and the rear fenders are rolled much more aggressive than the 1M.

EC stands for?

I know someting about the 1M but I really didn't know xenons were optional in some parts of the world.

This is the very first non-xenon 1M streetcar I come across in >2 years ....

Yeah the mirrors, I tend to stay with Tuned1M...

Cheers

You know... I just now, noticed the 135i mirrors.

Since this is a 135i, probably the guy crashed his 135i and opted for halogens and a new front (1M type)bumper. Just my guess. Halogens are way cheaper than xenons - as we all know.

@ Dackelone. My 1M is imported from Germany but was it really an option in D, xenons? In NL the car was offered 90% loaded...

Yup, on a real 1M, this harkens back to the 2002 Turbo. I love the idea, but I think it's a bit overdone in this example.

BMW got their collective wrist slapped for putting the "Turbo" backwards on the windshield so people would know to get out of the way on the highway. hahahaha. Awesome.

actually, Xenon was standard for the 1M on EC cars. It had to meet certain regulations regarding the parking lights and this was only possible with the xenon headlights - so they became standard. in the us the car was available with halos.

Well... I know the prototypes had Halogens. I thought they were standard. But I just looked at this sales PDF... and it only shows Xenon and Xenon with AHL.

Check out page #11, under "Licht und Sicht"... Xenons are standard and Xenons mit Adaptives Kurvenlicht (AHL) are optional for 410 euros.

I like the throwback on the 1M. It can only be done on an alpine white car though.

It was also done on silver cars, I think. Also, I was wrong above - the backwards "turbo" was not on the windshield.
