Excellent vid. Thanks for posting it. Having the "turn the screwdriver to the left" advice saved me going to sears to buy a right angle tool. Thanks so much for that.
Here are some pix from after the install.

excellent advice! I just did the install today following your instructions, it took a little more fidgeting and wrangling wiht the top clips than what you appeared to have to do, but the new black gloss grill looks great on my titanium silver 135 wiht the shadowline black gloss trim.

Just to add....took me about 25 min if only because I struggled getting those bottom clips undone with just a flat-head. Maybe because it was cold and my fingers were freezing or maybe because I wasn't realizing I HAD popped them. When you do pop the first one, the grill will only come forward a couple mm at first until you get the one next to it. From there, I was getting frustrated and gave up on being gentle. I'm not sure I exactly got how to undo the top clips correctly but I got them off, anyway.

very useful vid. thanks for posting.
i followed your vid as reference, and i used the flat screw driver from the tool kit to replace my chrome grills with the shadow line grills.

I didn't want to spend money on a pry tool, and the flat-head screw driver was a nightmare for me. Maybe I'm a complete idiot, but I was scratching up the original grill really badly trying to get a variety of flat-head drivers in there just right.
So, I relied on my favorite and the most adaptable tool of all time... a coat hanger from the local dry cleaners. I cut off the cardboard and bent the end up into a hook. The hook slips under the clip and you just pull the hanger towards you and the grill pops right out. I think I spent 30 minutes with the screw driver and got 2 of the clips... I switched to the hook and removed both grills in under a minute. Haha, give it a try. There is no risk of damaging your original grills either  |
