Any exhaust shop can fit them up for you in under 20-30 minutes (some may only take 5 though lol).
ECS Tuning for $363 ex shipping. They have a few choices for shipping - I went with UPS express saver.

Thanks mate. I'm currently tossing up between the BMW PE and the N55 mid-pipes... I might ring a few wreckers to see if any N55 equipped cars are in stock.

ps: spotted your wifes 125i in Miranda a couple weeks ago.

As Woosh has posted.. 30 min max to install..

Peter@AdvanPerformance can install for you.. He wont rip you off.
There is no way you should pay more than $100 for install...

I guess its a choice between secondary cat delete or resonator delete, you could always do both but thats going to be pretty loud (and most likely drone).

She works in Miranda so its around there quite a bit.

I did both on my 135i... wasn't that loud and the drone was minimal..

On the 1M, I have left the resonator.. Totally different set up than the 135i.

Installed the N55 downpipes today and all is good.

Its a bit louder than before and no drone but raspy down low - this is with catless AR downpipes and stock axel back.

Re shipping - I used UPS and they told me they had to put the box through customs as it was too big.... Cost an extra $430 on top of shipping

WTF!! How can they pull that? It wasnt a 'brokerage fee' was it.

Also, did you get expedited or express saver?

My n55 mids landed in Sydney yesterday and are scheduled to be delivered to Advan by cob tomorrow - Total cost was $446 and it took 3 days to get to Sydney via ups (although it took ECS a week to get them in stock). Called them up just then and there are no extra charges required, so pretty happy with that considering how bulky they are.

Just added the Eisenmann Race axle back to my N55 mids and sounds friggin awesome..

Nice deep rumble and gurgle low in the rev range and screams in the high revs..
Like driving a totally different car, with more torque down low..

Recommended break in on the pipes is about 700km, and then it will sound even better, which is hard to believe, as it sounds the money now..

Claimed 33% better flow over OEM axle back.

Also, it tucks up nice and deep and you cant even see it ( Only the 83mm tips ), where The OEM muffler stands out like an eye sore.

Will post a vid later on tomorrow..

And as you can see from the pix, the muffler is tucked up nice and deep, and out of sight..

What's the low rev cruising sound like? Any freeway drone?

Had every intention of adjusting the hangers, but after cutting back the connecting pipe 20mm, the tips sat back neater and higher in the diffuser cut out..

And yes, at WOT its music to the ears..

Had Peter@Advan take it for a spin so that I could hear it in the real world.

Special thanks to Peter, for letting me use his facilities for the install.. and yes Pete, I will have to start paying hoist rent..
