because thats how you get the readings, you have to connect the machine to the rear wheels because its rear wheel drive, if it was front wheel you would do the opposite.

Your dyno operator corrected #s using SAE which is the right way to post and compare #s.If they are not corrected they cant be compared.

Correct–then Compare

You ran your car on a dyno and its computer spit out a bunch of power and torque numbers. In fact, you have two sets: uncorrected, or "raw," numbers and corrected numbers. Gearheads love to compare numbers. Each dyno is subjected to different atmospheric conditions. To facilitate comparison, there has to be a "standard" to which dyno results conform or are "corrected." In the United States this is usually Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) standard J1349 Rev JUN90. Correcting to SAE J1349 alters the data to make it seem as if it was taken when the atmospheric pressure was 29.23 in/hg., the temperature 77° F and the humidly zero.

The degree to which temperature, pressure and humidity affect power output is constant. If we accurately measure those parameters at the dyno location, we’ll know the difference between the atmospheric conditions at the time and location of our test and those of SAE J1349. That difference is applied to the raw data and the result is corrected power and torque which we can compare to other data taken anywhere in the world that is also corrected to J1349.

I get that the dark, heavy lines are your readings. What do the thin lighter lines represent?

I agree but not with turbo engines. Within reasonable limits, most new turbo car engine computers will vary boost to make up for the differences you mentioned. There isn't much that can be changed on non turbo engines so they will dyno different based on conditions.

I would rather see people post both corrected and uncorrected graphs.
