I'm fine with postponing as well due to weather. I'm only about a half hour away and my car is filthy as fuck so I could really care less either way.

Why do we always plan these meets for the worst weekend. Anybody else remember coming out of Harold's into the beginning of a massive snowstorm?

And now we have torrential downpours to worry about. We have the worst weather luck.

I'm well aware of the weather, as I said, raindate is 3/21/10 if the forecast does not improve. I will update in a few hours with my final decision.

OK, the deadline is today - by 6pm to let them know if we can still do 3/14.
I told Dave I'd let him know if something on the forecast changes by 6pm tonight if not, we are set for 3/21/10 arrive at noon, race at 1pm.

The weather just isn't looking good and I am not sure about some of you, but I do not drive my 1er in inclement weather. I also am really antsy to see each and every one of your cars and do a nice weather spirited drive to the event, and you just can't do that on a weekend rainy day.

So, expect 1 more update today regarding the date change but as of right now, I already have us scheduled for next Sunday, 3/21.

For all those who haven't paid yet, GPNY just did away with the same-day payment surcharge. So you are welcome to bring cash the day of and I'll throw it on my card, just makes sure to remember to pay for your race!

I agree with your thinking. If we don't have cars to check out, it's going to be a bunch of us guys staring at each other in a room. I'd much rather hope for sun next Sunday and get a bit more out of it and hopefully wash my car (for the second time since I've had it...)

Hey guys yeah I understand if the weather doesn't allow us to go then so be it. I agree that I would like to check out other people's cars too and if the weather is bad then it wouldn't allow us to do that.

So if things change I'll see what I can do about making it next week.
