Thanks! I have yet to pull the trigger on upgrading the lights... it was up there on my mods list, but after taking the hit for the rims/tires, I will have to wait on some cash.

i understand your position. i am saving some cash for some rims/tires too.

i heard installing the xenons might cost a lot...it would have been cheaper if you had it included as part of your options from what i hear

Yah. The only real option besides retrofitting OEM Xenons would be to go through BavX and have them custom build you DEPOs with their LS1 rings. (They can do this now..)

Without the m-sport package, the 128 sits 15mm higher than a stock 135i (which already comes with the m-sport suspension). Now there is also the BMW performance suspension which lowers the 135i by 10mm, or the 128i non-M by 25mm. Stock 128i suspension is softer/bubbler than the stock 135i suspension, as expected.

By the way, no thread jacking here, but I still have the stock (m-sport) struts/shocks/sway from the 135i I used to own (2011 model) since I installed the performance suspension on that car and traded it in that way. Given that the springs are always specific to the car packages, this is a good upgrade for those with a 128i looking to upgrade to m-sport. All that's needed are the m-sport springs specific for the car.

Yeh mine is the same, next planned mod.. A lil scared though, heard that a conversion could cause electrical issues and not ready to void any warranty! Just bought tires this yr!

Nice car/mods

Just curious, from the $$$ you've put in, you probably could have gotten a 135... would like to know why you went this route?

Thanks. I hear this all the time. The difference between the 128/135 bare bones is roughly $7000... and as a college student its a no brainer. (and I didn't get to choose the options as this was a take it or leave it deal). But as far as money into mods its ~$3000 which includes the new tires/rims (~$1800).

As far as daily driving I prefer the straight line 6 and the HP difference doesn't bother me too much.

Really nice, you've given me some inspiration. The gloss black lowers are subtle but a real nice touch, never seen someone do that before. Congrats!
