Notchy 1st gear

Sitting still, sometimes going into 1st feels a little notchy and I have to back off the clutch a little or rack another gear and go back for it to fully slot.

Any thoughts on this? Anything I should be worrying about?

Have you rolled backwards at all before you try? xD

Had the same issue from day 1, ..changed to Redline synthetic and improved dramatically for me, buttery smooth. Been on it for 2 ½ yrs now (serviced twice) with no issues.

I run MTL and 1st gear when at a stop is sometimes difficult to find. Drop into another gear and then I can find 1st. Syncro?

I get this every once in a while. Its like a locked out of first feeling. I usually back out of gear and try again.
