Many people don't think about replacing the sway bar end link when they lower their car, usually because they are able to make the OE length line up at some point.
Even though this may connect it doesn't mean your suspension geometry is positioned correctly to maintain the intended performance.
When you lower your vehicle the sway bar end links need to increase in length since the shock mounting point stays in place as the body drops lower.
When using the OE end link on a lowered vehicle it pulls the sway bar up causing extra load and binding often creating suspension noise, early end link failure, and undesirable handling characteristics.
