The life of my 135i, because pics are cool.

Since I enjoy photography, and I don't want to keep starting/whoring out a new thread to show off a stock car, I'll periodically update this if I think I have some cool shots. Cool? Cool!

Disclaimer: They're only cellphone pics

Bimmerstock inspired my little cruise this evening.

Thanks man... They're just stock 2012 135i non-M-Sport wheels.. didn't have much of a choice I don't think.. hated them in pics when ordering the car, but like them much better in person

edit: 18" Wheel Style 372 w/mixed performance tires.

I hear ya man. They look much better (and larger) in pics as apposed to on the website. I will have the same ones as I didn't order m sport package. I don't like those wheels at all and don't prefer that steering wheel either. After you subtract those what's left in the package isn't worth it. Becides so many people have m sport it it's kinda played out and overrated to me. Mine will look just like this except I have coral interior. This makes me so excited. I can't wait til mines delivered. AW power lol
Thinking bout powder coating mine in white as well

So true, they look terrible on the site but in person, like you said, they're a completely different wheel. I've had plenty of compliments on them and I'm just like, shrug, eh yea they're nice haha.

I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on the Coral Red. I bailed and went black / white trim which I love, but it is very nice as well in the Coral and you're going to love it!

Good luck with it!

Pro-Tip - take the Hassel plates off and never go to them again. They are not worth it. Nice car though

Did you take those out by Shelter Island?

Haha, that bad? I had a good experience there and they beat every other dealer I went to by a decent amount. Most didn't even take me serious about ordering one... I do plan on de-advertising for any dealer though.

That's out in Lloyd Harbor, North Shore by Huntington / Cold Spring Harbor. It's a pretty awesome stretch of road, great scenery.

Water on both sides, 1 lane each way, with space to pull off.

Zoomed out if you ever want to take a ride up there:

Its a wonderful view - you can see how often I head up to the north shore, some of those coast roads are gorgeous though, Sag Harbour comes to mind as well.

Everybody that was good in the Hassel Service department left last december. They all moved to Habberstad Huntington and Bay Shore - So I go to Habberstad now.

Quick story, My car had 77K miles on it at the start of the month. My wastegates were rattling horribly. So I took it to Hassel (like I used to do) They had the car for 3 days and didnt even read it for codes (I knew there were codes stored in the ECU) until the day I pick up the car.

The conversation switched from "Get in right away" to we can do nothing, your wastegates are broken but they arent broken enough. Come back to us when they break fully (whatever that meant). Knowing that they were just trying to make me leave and avoid a repair on a car 5K miles before the warranty expired. So I got on the phone to track down the awesome people that used to work at Hassel, I found them at Habberstad and walked out with brand new turbos and an intake manifold cleaning a week later.

Hassels service department is currently awful, they treat you like dog turds and they dont care about you. I would highly recommend avoiding them in the future.

Back on topic though! and Back to the pictures!

Good to know and noted, I honestly hope I don't have to deal with service much, it's a lease. I wanted to sign with Habberstad in Huntington (I live there).. but the sales guy I dealt with was a dick, I came in close to closing time and he literally shut the lights on me even after telling him how interested I was. To me, that's a go F yourself you just lost a sale, and they did..

Yes, more pics! Going for a cruise Friday with a buddy and his WRX. Maybe we'll find some cool spots.

Her first snow!

A week after hurricane Sandy, the nor'easter "Athena" gives her best attempt at causing chaos... Bringing my 1's first snow!

Yes, I'm aware at how boring these three pics are

Was a pretty slick drive this morning, but that's what made it so enjoyable!

I think I may have to cave and purchase a winter set though, I was hardly able to get her going on any sort of incline, and this wasn't even bad.
