Vrsf 5" Fmic V2
So just being on the safe side, but I finally received my fmic today and was actually surprised at how heavy it was.
No issue there, just my worry is that it doesn't have bottom support brackets like I have seen on some of the older 7" fmic. Will the clamps and two bolts on the sides really be enough for a safe install and not have to worry about it falling off or sagging down? just curious before install. cheers!

It'll be fine. I was one of the first 10 or so people to run the 7" core way back when - it's been doing just fine solely supported by those screws ever since.

Thanks for the replies fellas, looks like I will just go ahead and install. If a 7" hasn't fallen yet, I'm not too worried about a 5" then haha.

Yes the FMIC will be fine just use the new screws supplied with the FMIC. Installed mine tonight install went fine however i did not position/tighten a clamp on the passenger side coupler and blew it off while testing
