how to rename songs/CD

Hi everyone,
I got my first BMW- 125i convert. Does anyone know how to change the name of songs or albums when saved to the car computer ? The instructions say to go to the CD album and select Options then rename CD but when I do that , the Rename option does not work. Does anyone know if I can change the name of each track ? Thanks

Also the back of the drivers seat does not extend back fully - is this usual?

From my experience wth the 09 iDrive you can't rename an album in the music collection (ie on HDD) if you've ripped it from a CD. If you do a music transfer via the USB port then you can rename the album. I don't think you can rename tracks - I have tried with no luck. I rip CDs into iTunes then rename the tracks and album if needed, then transfer the .mp3 files to a USB stick before transferring to the car's HDD.

PS. Is there a way of changing your text input between upper and lower case?

Thanks amk. I could not change text between up and low case.
BTW can you fully recline the driver seat to lie flat ? - my 125i does not allow me to fully recline the back of the drivers seat so I cannot lie back and look at the stars when the hood is down.

I've never tried to recline the seats fully. Will give it a go and let you know.
