I had the Dunlops on my M-coupe. They were a wash. Better than OEM on dry traction, worse on wet traction. Much noisier overall.
I have the Pilot Sport PS2 ZPs on my 335i and there is nothing I've ever used that compares — they are that good. The OEM Bridgestones for the 335i aren't performance oriented, and are harsh and noisy, too. I once had a VW Passat with Pilot Sport A/S on it that easily out-cornered Porsche Boxters and worn 911s on Skyline Blvd. in northern California. I'm a Michelin fan if ever there was one. Especially after being talked into the "supremacy of the Dunlop tire" from a fellow at D**** Tire who didn't know jack from jill. The Dunlops were noisy and imprecise and terrible in the wet. Only passable in the dry. Have nothing to compare to real performance tires like the PS2 / F1 / P-Zeros. |
