Do you need new wheel bolts?

I'm planning to buy snow tires... but these guys at a local shop are saying that since I'm going with aftermarket wheels, that I need different bolts.

I've a feeling that he just wants to charge me 150$ and make the money for the bolts... could someone confirm?

Buying rims/tires from tirerack, do you need new bolts? Or are they shipped with it

My snow rims use a diffrent bolt. The hole is smaller so the ones from BMW don't fit. I got from tirerack so they were included in the package.

Yes. I ordered a tire/wheel pack from Gill and it came with everything needed to put them on.

Some need new bolts and some do not. It depends on the wheel. If they are needed we provide them when ordering from us.

Ditto! Some wheels are designed with a different lug seat types. Some may come with a cone, ball, or mag.
