Would you buy a replica 1M Bumper, and for how much?

Hey guys - just trying to gauage some interest here.

As all aftermarket manufacturer's debate on whether to spend time+effort into creating a mold/bumper for certain models, I am a little "out of loop" with the 1 series community as I was predominantly e46 and e9x.

Would you guys purchase 1M bumpers if they were of high quality and perfect fit? How much would you be willing to spend? I was debating hopping into a 135i and didn't find any "1M" bumpers for sale.

A German company called csr made a few prototypes a year or two ago but they never looked all that good.

Look up csr bumper

nvm here's the link

I liked them a lot and would spend up to $1200 (with paint) and $800 with out.

You won't find any for sale because they don't exist yet. I would consider buying them, except they probably wouldn't fit a 135i since the 1M uses wider fenders front and rear.

Wouldnt you need a whole new front end? The front fenders on the 1M looks wider than the 135i, so I would think you would need the bumber and new fenders as well.

Even then, the 1M bumper hasn't even been revealed yet. It would surprise me that someone already has a replica made!

I think he might be gauging interest to see when it comes out.. and if a vendor replicates it if people are willing to buy it.. this will allow them to see who is interested and if they should invest in an 1M then replicate the entire exterior.

I would be interested but if its overly priced then forget it haha.. unless its made out of polyerthane or whatever the original bumper is made from.. if its fibre glass i will pass....

People would have to see what it looks like in order to guage interest.

I'd consider it... $400-500 bucks since it doesn't look too complex nor contain fogs.

+1, no fogs or anything else.

Also if it is too expensive then I will get the wide body kit that comes with fenders, skirts, and bumper for $1800.

It would probably be 700-800 - NO FOGS.

Bumper with proper Mesh inserts in middle, air ducts on sides. Perfect fit.
