Leaning towards the Hankook V12s
I also want to move up from 245 -> 255 and 215 -> 225

I have BremmerKraft Br05's at the moment and they are 8" in the front and 9" in the back
I'm assuming that it would be fine ? Just want to make sure.

The short version is they are Continental ExtremeContact DWS Ultra Performance all season tires. The reviewer rating is 8.5 from tire rack and the tire wear rating is 540. Hankook's for my 128i sport, lower priced high performance summer tire, have a 8.3 reviewer rating and a 280 tread wear rating. Some of the high performance summer tires get reviewer ratings a little above these all seasons but not by a whole lot and the ones that do cannot match the tread wear rating. Winter driving is at best a secondary criteria to me, I am trying to get a good performing tire that will last awhile and that seems to be the ultra performance all season tires.

Jim, I'm running the DWS A/S on my 135i, and I love 'um.
I got my 135i in July '09 and drove on the RFT's until around October, then went to TireRack in S. Bend and had the DWS installed.

Immediate difference in ride quality. The DWS are much better.
The wear has been exceptional. I'm coming up to 20K miles on the DWS and I can see some wear, as expected, but give that these tires can't be rotated the wear is impressive.

I developed a light oscillating hum in the right front, so I swapped left to right in front and rear. It removed it. Just that left/right swap helps to keep wear even. If I only realized it sooner I would have been doing the left/right swap at least twice a year.

Your concern is about non winter performance and for a tire that lasts, the DWS is a great summer, or 3 season tire. Summer performance is as good as the RFT's, and wet weather performance is better with the DWS.
Overall, I find the DWS to be superior to the RFT's.
There is one negative with the DWS in comparison to the RFT's, and I'm sure with "extreme" or "max" summer tires, is that the DWS have a softer sidewall, and you can feel that is a slight reduction is quick steering response. Still, I find them to be just fine even when driving hard on twisty roads. But that's the only time you'll actually have a decrease in performance.

Jim, you should be very happy with the DWS. When I discovered last year that replacing only the rear OEM Goodyear NCTs on my 128i would cost $700, I put on a set of 4 Contis for $600 - thanks to a great local shop & CCA discount.

The ride is significantly improved and both dry and wet grip are at least equal to the OEM if not better. I would advise bumping the pressures up to 35/38 when you head into the Blue Ridge as the only downside (as RPM90 said) is a slightly mushy feeling on turn in at the stock 32/35 pressures.

After nearly 11,000 miles with about 75% highway cruising and back road fun, the rear tires are showing 7.5/32" and the fronts a bit more than 8.5/32". Allowing for replacement at 3/32", I calculate total tread life at about 50,000 front and 30,000 rear.

+200 Hp best tyres what i have owned are Hankook RS2 daily drive and track R888, kumho KU31 or bridgestone potenza RE040 are shit in +200 hp car's. Slipery like hell.
I have been looking RS3 tyres but there is no place in europe (i haven't found) which sell Hankook RS3 tyres.

Some has recommend Hankook S1 evo tyres

I just got a set of 225 and 255 RE 11s. Great tires very sticky even with less than 100 miles on them. Will review once they are settled in. Great aggressive look to them as well

Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 225/255. Fits our stock wheels no problem.
