I will be at the MotelOne Saturday afternoon. I think some of us will head to the self service car wash, and then we will meet up for a nice Bier Garten that the Munchen Stamtisch have arranged.

In Garching there is a Aral gas station with an automatic car wash machine.


Last year some of us took a 25 min drive thru Munich to find this self service car wash...

That sucks. There are many hotels in that area. Go to Google Maps and do a search on.... "Garching-Süd hotels"

Ok, for Sunday/Monday's Gross Glockner Pass tour...

The PLAN:

Depart the Welt around ~3pm. Drive South to Brannenburg.
Gas up at the last Esso in Brannenburg.
Take small 1.5 hour detour to drive the world famous: Tatzelwurmstraße

Arrive at our hotel near Kufstein at ~6:30pm
Have a nice dinner at the hotel (included in the price! also included is breakfast and free WiFi in the lobby).

Monday depart to from Kufstein to drive the Gross Glockner Pass. Then break up on the way back for our rides back to "home base".


I need a head count soon for our hotel in Kufstein. Hotel rooms are almost brand new and VERY nice. All are double rooms. For two people it costs 54 EUR per serson. For one person it will run 78 EUROS. I have made all the arrangements - I only need a head count of who will join us for Sunday/Monday's driving tour.

Most are putting their "sticker" on the front right edge of the windshield...

Nothing that isn't an officially mandated sticker goes on my front window and nothing hangs from my rear view mirror. I even put my 1addicts sticker low enough on the side windows that you can't see them from inside the car and there's no stickers on the rear window [now].

I think I will be leaving Sat. with the KMC group. I just have to have the wife co-sign the plan.
