Oh, I should post the conclusion.

I paid $850 in labour @ Fast Lane European in San Jose for my:
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Crankshaft seal

I paid 641.41 for Flywheel + Seal + Shipping off of ECSTuning.
I paid 424 for Clutch + Trim panel clips (5$) off of ECSTuning (after realizing I need a new flywheel).

If I had done it all in one go, I would've saved myself about 30$ in shipping, bringing the total price for Flywheel, clutch, seal and shipping to maybe $1010.

Add $850 labour for a total, wallet-busting bill of $1860.

Don't burn your clutch and flywheel, people...or really check for it on a used car.

Thanks for the summary. Did they breakout the number of hours / labour-rate for you?

Karl.

Thanks for the breakdown. I usually do all car work myself, but this job is something I do not look forward to doing when the time comes. I never heard of Fast Lane European - how was the overall experience there? I just know of Sonic Motorsport or Bavarian Motorsport which have been recommended to me.

What is your current power level? I am interested in this clutch but I want to be sure it can solidly clamp with 400WHP.. It should as there are f10 550i's rated at 447HP at the crank from the factory but would like to hear some first hand input.

The labour is on a sheet at home. I believe it was about 6 hours + tax and a very slight discount.

They are a very small indy shop with great reviews. I've heard things about Sonic Motorsports, good and bad. The bad being that they are only there because their primary business is money laundering....but I have no evidence and maybe I shouldn't sling that around, haha.

My power.. I wish I knew. I had a turbo piggyback sensor (hooked in-line with TMAP), a cat-back RPI exhaust and an AFE intake. I took the intake and piggyback sensor off and the car feels way more sluggish (first time I've driven the car like this. It's really much slower...). If the stock was 300, I'd say I'd assume something with 330-340 HP at the crank. 350 at the very very most.

My car had quite a few previous owners, so I assume they were all very harsh on the clutch.

The clutch pressure plate in the ECS kit is 21207603248 - which is from the 2014 F10 550i as well as the 650i. My car doesn't make enough power to truly test that clutch, so I couldn't tell you.
