Looks great!
I actually searched for your threads based on that cheap eBay lip thread that you contributed to. I saw your car on OEM 261's which has inspired me to hang onto mine for a little while as with a drop (like you had) they seem to suit the car so much better. I'll eventually change my wheels but the mod list is huge (FMIC, DP's, axle-back, black lines, diffuser, front lip, coilovers) so to be honest those can wait for a while. I wanted to ask, what rear diffuser is that? I'm undecided on a 2-fin (alike OE BMW Perf) or 3-fin design like yours, both are readily available from Chinese eBay it seems with JC Sportline (2-fin) being tried and tested by members here. Hello,
My rear diffuser is icarbon. I purchased it from another member locally who bought it a long while back. Not sure if they make it anymore but I'm sure there are plenty of replicas out there as you mentioned. I prefer the 3 fin design as I think it looks more balanced. Personal preference though. |

Stunning looking car mate. Perfect stance in my opinion.
I've taking delivery of an e82 later this month and first thing I'll be doing is buying wheels and coilovers. I'm interested to know if you've had any issues with rubbing yet? I've read endless accounts of which offset and tyre profile to go with but hard to see which set up is the best. Ideally I don't want to go super stretched but seems the safest way to get clearance when the car is sitting that low is 225 front and maybe 245 rears on 8.5 and 9.5 staggered wheels. Also are your tyres 35 profile front, 30 rear? Thanks for your help |

Thanks!
It does scrub a bit, going over sharp bumps. Since I got the guards rolled it has been much better. I'm running 235/35/19 ET 45 (8.5 wide rim) front 255/30/19 ET 50. 9.5 wide rim (rear) The front is very tight, I would run 225 in future The rear is fine with rolled guards, you could run slightly more aggressive offsets if you wanted. |
