It's pretty special. Pulls INCREDIBLY hard in every gear. Really fun ride that would be very pricey to replicate.

Also, I have the clean Carfax for it too if anyone needs to see it.

Thanks! There aren't many of them out there, and I've only seen one other one for sale in the last year or two, and it sold to a guy near where I live for $86k.

Simply incredible! If I were you I'd never part with it. Too special and with the new direction BMW is headed... Might be last of its kind.

PS a friend recently sold a limited specd 458 to a broker who explicitly deals with UAE clients for $60k over MSRP. Look into an overseas deal, you can make a really nice profit, especially since it's numbered and signed.

GLWS!

Yeah, it's a great feeling having that all motor power on tap.

It's a long story, but I just can't keep it. It's in perfect shape, and I haven't seen one for sale in over a year.

Yeah, I drove the new M4, I liked it, didn't love it. Felt too big and numb, also once you realize where the engine sound is coming from you can't pretend it's not fake.

I'll keep that in mind. Using brokers are a very last resort (bad experience with a couple in the past) and overseas sales can get sketchy, but nothing is really of the table just yet.

If you see it posted here, it's still for sale. I'll be sure to update the thread here once that changes.

Beautiful! Is the 8300 RPM redline retained or is it reduced to 7800 with the 4.6?

Amazing! Have a factory warranty and have around 450whp to play with. I would make a lot of people unhappy by having them think its just a stock m3 lol.

Peak HP comes at 7800, I thought the verbiage from Dinan was confusing from the get go, saying "The S3-R M3 peaks at 527 horsepower at 7800 rpm, up 113 and down 500 rpm from stock." But they explained that as peak HP comes earlier than the stock motor, which is where a lot of the confusion is, and the redline is not changed.

With the software suite installed, I notice the moving yellow warm-up area on the tach does take a little time to get to full revs but the redline, as far as I've noticed, and from what Dinan said, has not changed from OEM. Thing is, I've never felt the need to take it there, full power is there at 7800, so I usually shift there on the rare times I'm really wringing it out.

Ha, yep! That seems to be the sentiment, but's it is worth it.

Again, that's the asking price if anyone is interested, I'll entertain respectful offers.
