Angel eye transplant

Hey guys, I have a 2009 128i base model with the halogen lamps. I would love to have the angel eye headlamps. I'm on craigslist looking for deals and I see a set for E87 which I believe is the 5 door version for 100 bucks

So I'm trying to find out what models would fit my E82 and what types (HID, projector, etc) would fit.

Mod bargains has a plug in play AE head lamps. Not OEM but what you are looking for

e87(and e81) AHL headlights will fit on an e82. Just use RealOEM.com to confirm.

If your car is pre-lci (or you don't care about eyebrow), go with a set of depo v2. Looks almost identical to oem and from what I hear they are quite reliable. Would save you a substantial amount of money instead of going oem, and they are plug and play!

I can give you the guts of a set of headlights. You can open yours up and swap it all over and then reseal them if you want. If you're handy that would be the cheapest way.

Thanks for all your input. Verified that the E87 lights didn't fit my car. Different part numbers.

Still kicking myself for getting a 128 and trying spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on it trying to do what I should have done to begin with...Buy the right friggin car... a 2011 135i
