high pitch whine at idle
Does anyone know WTH this noise is?
You will need to view it in HD due to the high pitch. The lower sample rate will not catch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzZ1JE7WeYs |

Its probably one of the bearings in the serpintine belt going bad. It could also be the AC compressor or alterntor or PS pump as well. Anything driven by that polly ribbed belt serpintine belt.
First I would look real closely to the ribs on the belt for cracks. You could try some belt dressing sprayed on the belt... but I would just have your dealer look at it. |
